The Secondary Musical, Hairspray opened to a packed house for the first of a three-night run. The spectacular show starring students from Years 7 to 13 takes the audience back to 1960’s Baltimore, tackling issues of racial segregation and discrimination through catchy tunes and fabulous choreography. The cast (of nearly 90 students) and accompanying student/teacher orchestra are polished and professional and you would be forgiven for thinking you were watching an actual Broadway performance. It was also wonderful to see so many enthusiastic Primary students and their parents in the audience. Tickets are 300 baht for tonight's performance and Thursday’s and are available from Khun Ying in the Arts office or on the door. Hairspray starts at 6pm in the theatre! Don’t miss out on this truly amazing show!

"Loved it! Such a talented cast who nailed their performances. I still have the songs in my head which is such a good measure of success!"
