Bangkok Primary Maths Team Challenge

Bangkok Patana hosted the second ever Bangkok Primary Maths Team Challenge with the number of schools participating increasing from ten to fifteen this year. Teams of four students competed in a range of mathematical challenges during the day, including number puzzles, a shuttle challenge, a construction round and in the final round, a locked box. This final challenge required teams to solve a clue to unlock a padlock before they could access a range of mathematics challenges inside. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day, which ended with the Bangkok Patana team triumphant, and lifting the first place trophy. It is hoped that this event will continue to grow in future, with some of the participating schools expressing an interest in hosting next year.
