Bangkok Patana School is a not for profit organisation that is run by a Foundation Board rather than one individual. Our unique learning environment and wide range of facilities that benefit the students have been achieved thanks to the foresight and dedication of members of its past and present community.
An outstanding education however requires funds over and above the operating expenses that are covered through fees. The extra projects and facilities provided through our community’s donations to the school’s Capital and Annual Funds help to ensure that all students have the chance to discover and fulfil their potential both in and outside the classroom.
The Building Patana campaign was launched in 2007 during the school’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Money donated to this fund supports the building and renovation of facilities to keep the school at the cutting edge of international education and to provide 21st Century learning environments. Donations help to bring forward the completion of facilities that will greatly enhance the education of all students, who can enjoy these benefits earlier and for longer.
All donors to the Capital Fund receive a plaque in the facility they choose to support, which to date include:
Further opportunities to donate to the Capital Fund exist in other areas of the school campus, from THB 15,000. All donations to the Capital Fund receive double tax deduction on personal income tax and corporate taxes.
For more information on how to donate to the Capital Fund please contact Kulvadee (Dee) Siribhadra, Director of the Foundation Board Office at email@example.com or telephone 02 785 2497.
Since it was established in 2004, the Annual Fund has helped to enrich the learning of every single Bangkok Patana student. As its name suggests, the fund seeks support each year for a range of achievable projects that will help the school deliver excellence in a chosen area. It provides an opportunity for all members of the school community to help in creating and sustaining an unrivalled learning environment.
Resources and projects funded from since its inception include upgraded playground equipment, 3D printers, vegetable gardens, gymnastics equipment, Outdoor Classroom renovations and the installation of solar power panels.
The Annual Fund is all about participation and every gift received, whatever the size, will make a difference. More information on the current campaign, tax deductible criteria and on how to give please see our dedicated Annual Fund pages and flyer.
